YouTube API Services — Privacy Policy & Terms of Use

mymodals Uploader is an internal command-line tool used only by the owner of the mymodals YouTube channel to upload the channel's own original videos on a schedule. It is not offered to the public and has no other users. It uses YouTube API Services.
1. Privacy Policy
1.1 YouTube API Services and Google Privacy Policy
This tool uses YouTube API Services. By using it you are also bound by the YouTube Terms of Service, and the handling of your data by Google is described in the Google Privacy Policy (www.google.com/policies/privacy).
1.2 What we access
- With your permission (OAuth 2.0, scopes
youtube.uploadandyoutube.readonly), the tool uploads video files you choose to your own channel and sets their title, description, tags, category, language and the "altered or synthetic content" and "made for kids" declarations. - It reads your channel's ID and title and the list of your most recent uploads, only to confirm that it is uploading to the correct channel.
- It does not access, collect or display any other user's or channel's data, comments, analytics, subscribers or personal information.
1.3 What we store, and where
- The OAuth refresh token is stored only on the channel owner's own computer (in the Windows user profile, outside any synced folder). It is never sent to any server other than Google's.
- After an upload the tool saves the new video's ID and link next to the local video file. No other YouTube data is stored.
- We do not share, sell or transfer any YouTube API data to third parties, and we do not use it for advertising.
1.4 Cookies and device information
The tool itself runs locally and does not place cookies or collect device information. (This web page uses Google Analytics; see our general privacy policy.)
1.5 Revoking access and deleting data
- You can revoke the tool's access at any time from your Google Account's security settings: security.google.com/settings/security/permissions.
- Revoking access, or deleting the token file, immediately stops all API access. Locally stored video IDs can be deleted at any time; on request we delete any stored data within 7 days, and stored API data is refreshed or deleted within 30 days as required by the YouTube API Services Developer Policies.
2. Terms of Use
- By using mymodals Uploader you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service.
- The tool may only be used to upload content that you own or have the rights to, to a YouTube channel you control, in line with YouTube's Community Guidelines.
- Videos with AI-generated narration are uploaded with the "altered or synthetic content" disclosure enabled.
- The tool is provided as is, for internal use only; it is not sold or distributed.
